Out The Window 2024 CAL

Part 1

Time to start a new year and a new project. This year we are going to do another corner-to-corner graph project but rather than posting one square every month I have chosen to provide 4 squares every quarter that will form ¼ of the finished project. This was a difficult decision for me, and I decided that with my limited time I want to be able to not only continue with a crochet-along but to also be able to provide more fun content to the website. Although I will only be providing parts of the crochet-along once every 3 months be sure to stay tuned for other mini projects to keep you entertained this year.

The theme for the year is a look out the window. I will be providing the 4 panes of the window as 4 separate graphs every quarter that then get sewn together to create the full picture of one window. There will be 4 widows in total that will bring us through the seasons.

To start with we will be ding a Winter window. Now I do know that not all of us see snow during the winter, but I just love the sight of it. On the Facebook page please share what your winter scene out your window is and keep your eyes open the first Sunday in April for Part 2.

My suggestion would be to do all the windowpanes in the same color but feel free as always to create this in anyway that suits your taste.

The colors I suggest are:

Windowpanes: Red Heart / Coffee (or) Red Heart / Café

Background: Red Heart / Light Blue

Snowflake: Red Heart / White
